I always dream of having my own scrapbooking room…
At the moment, I don’t have my own place yet but nobody say I cannot have a dream. Have you ever dream of your own scrapbooking room?
I saw this video of a lady showing her scrapbooking room on you tube and really envy her. I dream that one day I’ll have one too.
One day, when I have my own house, I want to dedicate a special room for it. It doesn’t have to be very big but it must have enough space for me to put a table in the middle and some storage area for the scrapbook supplies. I don’t want to use my kitchen or the area under the stairs for this purpose. To me these place has too much distractions.
I want the room to have big window and overlooking the lawn. The natural lighting is very important and I want the room to be airy also. Stuffy and dingy room is a NO NO for me.. .I believe that ideas can flow easily if we have good ventilation.
What color do I want my scrapbooking room to be? Well.. I want it to be light blue and maybe have light blue or white curtains to complement it. This color has calmness effect to me and I love it.
I have some rough ideas of how my scrapbooking room layout will be. The center piece of the room will be a table that I’m going to use for my scrabooking activities. The table has to be big enough for me and one or two friends, in case if I decide to host a scrapbooking party. Adding a number of comfortable chairs will be a big plus also.
Now come to the storage part. I want to have floor to ceiling shelves where I can put the storage container for my scrapbooking supplies. Movable dresser or organizer will be useful for those scrapbooking tools that I use so that I can roll it next to the table when I scrapbook. This one from Amazon looks nice and the roller will make it easier to move around.
I can put all the tools and materials that I always use inside the dresser and can easily pull it to everywhere that I want it to be. Nifty storage ideas…
Those little embellishments will need to go into some art bins or storage container. It will be better if I can find embellishment organizer like the one below. This one look really cool… Too bad, I haven’t seen one like this in the mall near my areas 
I want to have shelves for my scrapbooking books also. I purchased some reference books so I want a place to put it. I always use these books for ideas so the shelf must be at the bottom so that it is easily accessible.
My scrapbooks will need a dedicated cabinet. I might categorize it according to themes ..it seems to be the easiest way to do.
