Designing your craft or scrapbooking room?
Then you might want to consider these factors when choosing your craft room furniture and fixtures.
1. The furniture and fixtures that you choose need to be balanced and optimize with the the amount of space that you have
2. It is always a good idea to measure the size or area of the room or space that you want to use before you go furniture hunting. This will save you from lots of unnecessary mistake and guesswork
3. If you are looking for furniture for your scrapbooking room, take note of the location of the windows and door. Don’t forget to jot down the window height from the floor. This information will be handy especially if you want to buy dressers or shelves that will sit near the windows. You’ll not want them to obstruct the window
4. It is a good idea to plan and decide what type of furniture that you need and where you want to put it. For example, do you want to put the table in the middle of the room or next to the window? How about the shelves, should it be placed against the wall?
5. Don’t forget the lighting. Do you want it wall or ceiling mounted? If your room has big window, let the natural lighting come in and do not obstruct the window with your shelves
6. Choose a comfortable chairs. If you have extra fund, you might want to invest in ergonomic chair. It is more expensive compared to normal chair but it provide better back support and promote good postures.
7. Don’t waste your wall space. Invest in good quality wall mounted shelves and you can use them for your storage
