Craft stores are not the only place for you to get your scrapbooking supplies. Try dollar stores..Sometimes they stock ribbons and papers that you might be interested to buy. Online mark down stores are another place that you can try. Just be aware of their shipping and return policy, in case you need to return your purchase.

4. Stock on multiple use items

You can trim down your scrapbooking expenses if you buy items that can be used with mixture of styles. For example, stock up on basic papers and ribbons. They will work great for birthdays and vacations themes.

5. Watch out for end seasons or after holiday sales

Sometimes you can get the gold during these times. They might be doing sales on seasonal items that you can use for your scrapbooking project. Those red Christmas ribbons would be a perfect addition to your Valentine theme scrapbook. The seasonal stickers might be on sales too, so look out for them
