Scrapbooking Your Favorite Family Memories – I Love This Book

<< Uncategorized  Uncategorized >>

I’m always on the lookout for ideas for scrapbooking project.

Sometimes, I found nice scrapbooking books that I can use as a reference and I’d purchased it for my little library. I purchased this book in 2006 when I went to Santa Rosa, US for some job assignment. Yup, it was sometimes ago..

It is a hardcover book and pretty heavy too. My friends just couldn’t understand why I want to buy it and lug it all the way back home.

This book was published sometimes in 2003 (if I’m not mistaken) so don’t expect it to mention the latest scrapbooking tools in it.

I bought this book because it has lots of pictures illustrating the techniques that the authors was talking about. That’s the plus point that won me over. I’m a picture person, so this will surely help me understanding the techniques that being discussed.

This book does not have many step by step guide but the photos showing the examples will surely give a lots of ideas. It’s too bad that some of the tools and material being discussed is not available in my areas, so I’ve since learnt to adapt and be flexible in my scrapbooking project

In my opinion, beginners and advance scrapbooker will find lots of inspiration by going through pages and pages of ideas for doing creative scrapbooking. Some of the the creative ideas include photo cropping techniques such as kaleidoscope pattern, how to vary photo framing, slicing, sillhouettes and many more.

I learn a lot of new things by reading this book and surely my scrapbooking vocabulary improved a lot :)

What is your best scrapbooking book that you use for your reference?
