Scrapbooking Your New Year Vision – How To Do It?
With the coming of new year, we’ll typically take a moment to reflect our achievement in the past year and also our new year resolutions. In our mind, we try to picture what we want to achieve in the coming year and where we want to be in the months to come.
Did you know that a vision without plan will normally will not get you anywhere? Similarly, if you can’t even visualize what you want to achieve, you’ll have a hard time reminding yourself of your resolutions.
So, why not try to create a scrapbook page of your vision?
As a scrapbooker, we normally scrapbook about our past memories. We try to keep those memories in our scrapbooking arts books. Some of us painstakingly decorate and write captions and journal to reflect our memory. These beautifully decorated pages has emotion attached to it.
I believe we should also scrapbook about our future. What I meant was scrapbook about our vision, our target. It should be pretty easy because we can let our imagination run wild. For example, you can create a page for your whole new year resolutions and also break it down to more pages to illustrate what you want to achieve in each months. Write some journals and attached some photos and scrapbooking embellishment to these pages.
For example, if one of your new year resolution is to have more money, why not attach photos of money next to a smiling photo of yourself? If you feel that the photos that you have is not good enough, stock photos or royalty free images might be useful for you. Keep these pages within your reach so that you can always refer to them when you feel down. Seeing these beautiful arrangement everyday and reading your own journal detailing what you want to achieve will help you keep your new year resolutions in checks.
